 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. CULTISTS KILL YEAR ONE STUDENT OF UNIZIK AT MIRACLE JUNCTION. (PHOTOS).

Suspected cultists have killed a year-one student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State. The incident happened on Thursday evening.

According to one Dickson Anayochi who spoke with our correspondent, Miss Chigozirim was hit by a stray bullet at Miracle Junction.

He said: “This girl Uche Joevita Chigozirim, a 100 level Student of the faculty of health Science was killed yesterday( Thursday) evening by stray bullet shot by suspected cultists at the popular Miracle Junction.”

“Please help us and let the world know the insecurity situation we are facing here in the Unizik environment and the state government is not doing anything to improve the situation.

“Please let the IG of Police help us with a checkpoint around Ifite area of Unizik because we are tired of complaining to the State Government. It’s now a culture we are almost used to.It’s really sad”.

As of the time of filing this report the lifeless body of the student was still lying at the crime scene and covered with banana leaves.
