Lagos police launch investigation as jeweller  accuses its officers of harassment The Lagos State Police Command said it has commenced an investigation into a viral video of a jeweller accusing some policemen in the Festac area of the state of harassing him.  The command disclosed this in an X post on Saturday. The video, which circulated on X on Saturday morning, shows the businessman engaged in a struggle with some policemen. Later in the video, the businessman could be seen with a bloody face after allegedly sustaining a cut beside his right eye during the struggle with the police officers,  The jeweller later explained that the policemen from the Festac Division had stopped him for a routine search.  Gov. Yusuf Sacks Commissioner, Adviser Over Unguided Utterances 


Kano State Government has disassociated it self from unguided utterances made by the commissioner of lands and physical planning Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, and Special Adviser on youths and sports Alhaji Yusuf Imam,  which were disrespectful to the judiciary and the vice president senator Kashim Shettima.


The Commissioner of information Alhaji Baba Halilu Dantiye Disclosed this during an emergency media breifing held in Kano.


He said following the unguided utterances Made by the commissioner and SA on Youths  Aliyu Yusuf Imam , they have been relieved from their appointments with immediate effect. 


Alhaji Baba Halilu Dantiye said Kano state government have respect for the judiciary and the vice president , henceforth no government official should talk on any issue outside his ministry of parastatals.


He urged the people of the state to always be law abiding and respect rule of law.


Radio Nigeria recalled that the sacked officials made the unguided utterances in a video clip which went viral on social media , which they allegedly threatened the lives of the election tribunal judges , and uttered disrespectful words to the Vice President kashim Shettima
