 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. I wasn’t sacked – Thaddeus Attah reacts as tribunal orders supplementary polls in Eti-Osa

Thaddeus Attah, House of Representatives member, representing Eti-Osa Federal Constituency, has denied reports that he was sacked by the tribunal.
Reports had said the petition tribunal in Lagos State had cancelled the House of Representatives election for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency.
The report claimed that the tribunal sacked the Labour Party candidate, who was declared the winner.
But reacting, Attah on his Twitter page said he was not sacked.
According to him, the tribunal ordered a supplementary election in the 32 polling units where election did not hold.
“No cause for alarm! I am here to clarify that I was not sacked. The Tribunal has simply ordered a re-run (supplementary election) in the 32 polling units where elections did not hold.
“We will continue working for Etiosa.
“I urge constituents to keep calm as we are unshaken. We will get through this together,” he said.
