 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. The Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, Ph.D., on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force, extends heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Ike Neliaku, fnipr, on his election as the President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). This well-deserved victory reflects his dedication, commitment, and exceptional leadership qualities, which have garnered the trust and support of his peers and colleagues. The IGP has expressed confidence that his leadership will contribute significantly to the growth and development of the NIPR and further enhance the communication and public relations efforts within the country and beyond.

Similarly, the IGP extends warmest congratulations to the newly elected Executive and Council Members of the NIPR noting that their election is a testament to their outstanding contributions to the field of public relations and unwavering commitment to advancing the profession.
