 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. Over 200 Exhibitors To Grace Muslim Women Trade Fair In Kwara


Over two hundred exhibitors dealing in indigenous business, trade and services  are expected to participate in a trade exhibition among Muslim women in Kwara state. 


Speaking with journalists in Ilorin , convener of the programme, tagged, trade affairs, Hajiya Marufat Oladosu  said that the event was aimed to support business growth among Muslim women in and outside the state.


According to her  the forum, with over one thousand ( 1,000) membership, has made positive impacts on businesses of Muslim women through business orientation. 


Hajiya Oladosu said that the aim was to create a community of Muslimahs who engage in  clean business .


She explained  that the coming edition would involve over 200 vendors in 20 categories such as kiddies, food, wears, packaging, as well as about forty thousand shoppers.


Hajiya Oladosu  identified inadequate finance as a major challenge affecting their businesses.


She  called on the three tiers of government to support women enterpreneurship in order to improve clean business.
