 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem. Umuawulu Monarch Seeks Sustained Fight Against Insecurity

The traditional ruler of Umuawulu Igwe Joel Egwuonwu has expressed belief in the ability of the state to excel beyond its present capability.

In a statement on the steady growth of the state 32 years after its creation, Igwe Egwuonwu has high expectations in the ability of Governor Chukwuma Soludo to move the state to the next level following the giant strides of his predecessors in office.

The Royal father expects more tenacity of purpose in the area of security to rid the state of several acts of criminality.

He used the forum to announce that his new yam festival will hold on the 30th of this month with a special prayer session to precede the event on the 29 th of September.

To mark the new yam according to Igwe Egwuonwu, cultural displays, Agricultural exhibitions,etc will spice the celebration.

In a related development, a university don Prof.Ada Sam Omenyi admitted that the state has excelled in the area of Education since its creation.(MOI)

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
