  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. 'No office of First Lady of Senate President for Akpabio's wife'

The Wife of the Senate President, Ekaette Unoma Akpabio has no office in the National Assembly and has no intention of establishing one.
Mr. Eseme Eyiboh, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Senate President, said this in a statement while debunking reports that an office was created for Mrs Akpabio in the National Assembly on Monday.
Eyiboh, in the statement, said the story showed that it was essentially designed to malign and disparage the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
“A story of 20 paragraphs on the creation of an imaginary office for the wife of the Senate President uses three paragraphs on the unfounded issue.
“And the remaining 17 paragraphs were used for recitation of unrelated fables and other innuendo.
“For emphasis to the unguarded who may be prone to the fake news merchandise, Mrs Ekaette Unoma Akpabio has no office in the National Assembly and there is no intention towards that.
“Her only relationship with the National Assembly is that her husband is the President of the Senate and by virtue of that, as with his predecessors, she is president of the Senators’ Wives Association of Nigeria,” Eyiboh said.
Some reports had indicated that senators were angry with the Senate President Godswill Akpabio over creation of office of the First Lady for his wife.
