 FRESH BLOODSHED IN TARABA AS TIV-JUKUN CRISIS DISPLACES THOUSANDS 16th December, 2025 Fresh violence has erupted in the protracted Tiv–Jukun crisis in Taraba State, plunging several communities into fear and devastation. Killings, arson, and mass displacement have been reported as long-standing tension rooted in land ownership, political representation, and traditional authority, boil over once more. Clashes have spread across Wukari, Ibi, Takum, Ussa, Donga, Gassol, and Bali local government areas, with new incidents recorded between 2024 and 2025. Thousands of Tiv families have reportedly fled their homes, abandoning farms and livelihoods, while women, children, and the elderly face deepening humanitarian hardship. As the violence escalates, stakeholders are urging the Federal Government, the Taraba and Benue state governments, traditional rulers, and socio-cultural leaders to act decisively tighten security, ensure justice, and pursue sincere dialogue. ‘Other artists copying my style’ – Rema claims

Famous singer, Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has claimed that many of his colleagues are copying his branding and musical style.

In a recent interview with Rollingstone, the ‘Calm Down’ crooner said despite those copying him not giving credit, he was “flattered” by the fact that others are drawing inspiration from him.

He said it has always been his dream to change the afrobeats music scene.

Rema said, “I’ve been on the road for 4 years back-to-back; dropping bangers, hopping on stages. It has helped my growth non-stop.

“In as much as vacation is needed, I just don’t like to feel idle. I have so much plans for evolving this [afrobeats] sound. I’ve always been that guy who just want to change the guy and change how the game is perceived. From sound to shows, to branding.

“Even though some artists will not give me credit, I know how many people [artists] have copied my moves and I am flattered by it.”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
