 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. Wanted criminal arrested with AK-47 rifle and 16 rounds of live ammunition in Adamawa


Adamawa State Police Command in collaboration with local hunters, apprehended a suspected criminal, Shuaibu Abubakar and recovered one AK-47 rifle loaded with 16 rounds of live ammunition. 

 

Spokesperson for the police in the state, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, said the suspect was on the wanted list of the Command. 

 

“Another 30-year-old man identified as Shuaibu Abubakar has been arrested following the continued manhunt by the operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command in collaboration with hunters on 17/10/2023,” the statement read.
