 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. Cherubim and Seraphim church leader, Baba Aladura, dies at 103.


Spiritual Father and Chairman, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, is dead.


The spiritual leader popularly called Baba Aladura died on Sunday morning, Nov. 12, at about 10:00 am in his Ilorin home, the Kwara state capital.


He was 103 years old.


The Secretariat of the church headed by the Secretary-General, Special Apostle Ademola Odetundun, confirmed the development.


Special Apostle Odetundun said that the late spiritual father had his breakfast and was almost dressing up to prepare for service when he said that he wanted to rest for a while.


“He passed on peacefully, thereafter”, he said, adding that burial arrangements would be announced later.


It was also gathered that the remains of the spiritual leader had been taken to a mortuary in the state capital.
