 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. Couples who spend lavishly on wedding rings likely to get divorced – Eldee

Hip-hop artiste, Sikirullahi Olanrewaju Dabiri, popularly known as Eldee The Don, has asserted that couples who overly spend on engagement rings and parties are most likely to get divorced.
He said that prioritising expensive engagement or wedding rings is “generally not financially responsible.”
He stated this in a recent post shared via his Instagram story.
Eldee wrote: “The more money a couple spends on their wedding and engagement rings, the more likely they are to divorce, study reveals.
“No surprise here… People who prioritize these kinds of expenses are generally not financially responsible in the first place. So… They’ll fall out eventually, and it’ll be over money.”
