 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Ex-Eagles Goalkeeper, Enyeama, Bags Honorary Doctorate Degree From UNIUYO


Former Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama received an honorary doctorate award from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Saturday, November 11.


Enyeama revealed this in photos shared on his Instagram page on Saturday.


His caption read, "God has been my strength. He has been in the details. I can’t thank Him enough. 


"I want to thank the University of Uyo's Vice Chancellor and his team for conferring me with this great honorable award. God bless you, sir.


"I want to thank my wife #promisevincent, she has really been the bone from my ribs. God bless you and your family.


"I want to thank my family for always standing by me no matter the circumstances. To my fans and supporters, I love you guys. Thank you. A new title has been added to me. This is the Lord’s doing."
