  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Farmers Receives Solar Pumps In Kwara 

Farmers in Kwara state have been supported with Solar Powered Irrigation Pumps for dry season farming by the Rural Electrification Agency in Collaboration with the National Fadama Development Projects to enhance food security in the State .

Presenting the solar-powered irrigation pumps, the Higher Technical Officer, Rural Electrification Agency, North Central Zone, Engineer. Adebayo Babatunde, stated that the initiative is aimed at improving utilisation of Land and Water Resources across the major rivers in the country. 

According to him the implementation of the programme by the agency started with thirteen pivotal states including Kwara.

Engineer Babatunde said the beneficiary subproject sites selected include communities with Farmers' User Groups (FUGs), surface water schemes, subproject sites requiring upgrades in electrification infrastructure among others. 

Receiving the items on behalf of the Kwara State Government, the Project Coordinator, Kwara Fadama CARES, Dr. Busari Isiaka, thanked the Rural Electrification Agency for supporting Farmers in the state to increase their productivity.

He said the initiative will complement various support schemes being executed by the state government.END
