 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. The Commonwealth Games, held every four years, brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations.  GOV SANWO-OLU INAUGURATES LAGOS INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL CENTRE, LIFC COUNCIL AT LAGOS HOUSE, IKEJA, ON FRIDAY, 3RD NOVEMBER 2023

 


Today, I inaugurated the Lagos International Financial Centre Council. This esteemed council has been entrusted with the crucial responsibility of aligning their efforts with the overarching objectives of the Centre. 


Together, we aim to foster an environment that attracts and promotes investments in our vibrant city. By leveraging the expertise and vision of the Council, we are determined to propel Lagos into a global financial powerhouse, opening up new avenues of growth and prosperity for our citizens and businesses alike.
