 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. My Father Chose Stepmother Over Me, Actor Charles Inojie Speaks On Childhood 

Nollywood actor, Charles Inojie, has recounted a story of his upbringing, revealing that his father did not provide for him due to his stepmother.

He also expressed a lack of emotion when meeting his mother for the first time.

In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo shared on Friday, Inojie said in broken English, “Since dem born me till today, I’ve only lived with my father for only eight months, say pikin and papa live together. 

"We got to a point where she asked that my father should make a choice between her and Baba no go leave the woman wey dey lash am, give am everything, go choose one boy wey we no know whether he go become person for life."

Reflecting on the day he met his mother for the first time, the comic actor said, “The day I was to meet my mother for the first time, that time I don too see so nothing dey panic me again. I have been on the street for how long. 

"So one of my uncles called me. So I went there, when I entered, one woman dey there, everybody quiet, nobody is talking.

"The next thing I see the woman dey clean tears, I talk say belike say na my mama be that.”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
