 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The senior pastor at the fountain of life church jimmy in a video trending on social media, was seen raising f√nds for a stud€nt who needed N140K for his school’s tu!t!on and ended up getting the sum of N640K.

Another lady also stepped out on how she needed 7500 Canadian dollars [ro√ghly N6.3M] and ended up raising the sum of N9.6M for the church member.
