 South Africa says US misrepresented its policies after visa curbs South Africa's foreign ministry said on Wednesday that it ‌had noted with concern U.S. visa restrictions on some people from South Africa announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio a day earlier. The foreign ministry added in a statement that ⁠the U.S. announcement aligned with "the mischaracterisation of South Africa's domestic policies by fringe groups". "We maintain that challenges in our bilateral relations with the USA can only be resolved by constructive engagement through state actors on both sides of the diplomatic channel not unilateral acts," the statement said, Reuters reported. Trump has repeatedly criticized ‌South ⁠Africa since the start of his second term for what he falsely claims is the racial persecution of its white minority, citing affirmative action laws aimed at ⁠addressing the inequality that has persisted since apartheid. I had crush on Emeka Ike – Actress Ebube Nwagbo

Popular Nollywood actor Ebube Nwagbo has revealed that she had a crush on veteran colleague Emeka Ike.

She, however, said she never got the opportunity to express her feelings for him.

The actress said she was excited about Emeka Ike’s return to cinema with Toyin Abraham’s latest film ‘Malaika.’

“I had a crush on Emeka Ike but wasn’t given the opportunity to express my feelings,” she told QEDNG on the red carpet of the movie premiere held recently at Imax Cinema in Lagos.

Nwagbo explained that Ike had been off-screen for a while, and she could not wait to see his performance in the film.
