 President Tinubu to Present 2026 Budget on Friday, December 19 President Bola Tinubu is set to present the 2026 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly on Friday, December 19, 2025. Ahead of the presentation, a formal communication from the Presidency will be read on the floor of the House of Representatives on Thursday, December 18, notifying lawmakers and staff of the President’s appearance. The notification follows a letter dated December 17, 2025, signed by Adm. Essien Eyo Essien, Secretary of Human Resources and Staff Development, on behalf of the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana. The letter was also copied to the Deputy Clerk and heads of departments. According to the letter, President Tinubu, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, will deliver the proposed 2026 budget at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. I’m Nigerian from Oyo Kingdom, says Ghanaian singer Stonebwoy

Popular Ghanaian Afro-pop star, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known as Stonebwoy, has disclosed that he hails from the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria.
The Dancehall musician disclosed this during an encounter with popular car influencer, Ola of Lagos.
He stated that he is a Nigerian and that his tribe Ewe is from Oyo Kingdom.
According to him, his ancestor migrated from the Southern part of Nigeria before settling in Ghana making him trace his roots to Nigeria, Oyo Kingdom.
In his words: “Me sef nah Niger, no lies. Me nah Ewe from Oyo Kingdom, my tribe migrated from Nigeria to Ghana here, na we get Illesha. Shout-out to my people in the southern part of Nigeria, check Ewe, we root straight to Yoruba”, Stonebwoy said.
