Malian army withdraws from key Tessalit military camp: sources Mali’s army and its Russian mercenary allies have surrendered Camp Tessalit, a strategic military post in the north, multiple sources told the AFP news agency on Friday. An official from the Tuareg-led separatist group claimed soldiers and mercenaries at the camp had "surrendered", following a fierce fight over the weekend. Italian media rates Chukwueze low

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze has earned a poor rating despite earning the chance from start in AC Milan’s clash against Frosinone on Saturday, hoping to build on the goal he scored against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League.

However, as highlighted by Andrea Longoni, he took a step back instead.

The Nigerian has been struggling at the start of this season but finally got off the mark with a great goal against Dortmund mid-week. Against Frosinone, however, he didn’t have as much success and was named the clear flop by Gazzetta dello Sport.

Several players did very well for Milan, such as Theo Hernandez and Luka Jovic, but Chukwueze took a step back as argued by Andrea Longoni. In his editorial for MilanNews, he highlighted Nigerian’s main issue.

“On the other hand, Chukwueze took a step backwards compared to the positive performance in the Champions League against Dortmund. Too many mistakes, sometimes he wants to overdo it but it only creates confusion,” he wrote. Milan will face Atalanta in the next round and it remains to be seen if Rafael Leao will be back for that game. If not, then Chukwueze will get another opportunity to prove himself, having arrived for a fee of €28m including bonuses in the summer.
