 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. MAN ARRESTED IN ADAMAWA FOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING COURT CLERK WHO WENT TO SERVE HIM WITH COURT SUMMONS. (PHOTO).

Man arrested in Adamawa for allegedly ki!ling court clerk who went to serve him with court summons

The police in Adamawa state have arrested a 43 year old man identified as Linus Dimas, a resident of Kugama Wuro Jibir, Mayo Belwa Local Government, for allegedly k!lling a court clerk who went to serve him a court summon. 

In a statement released, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, says on December 18, the suspect rejected the court summons served to him from Yauba Usman, a staff of Nasarawo Jereng Area Court and st&bbed him with a kni!e severally thereby inflicting deep cuts on him.

Nguroje said the court clerk was immediately rushed to Hospital but was confirmed d£ad.

He added that the state Commissioner of Police has directed that the case be discreetly investigated.
