 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. PROMOTION : NSCDC DECORATES IBILOYE OLUYEMI JOSHUA WITH RANK OF COMMANDANT OF CORPS.


In the decoration ceremony of newly promoted, Assistant Commandant Generals and Commandants of Corps, which took place at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), National Headquarters, Sauka, Abuja, yesterday, Wednesday, 20th December, 2023, Commandant of Corps Ibiloye Oluyemi Joshua, who has just been newly promoted was also ceremoniously decorated, with the enviable rank.

The newly promoted, Commandant of Corps Ibiloye Oluyemi Joshua was decorated, by his adorable wife, Adesola Ibiloye, who works with the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing and the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports.

Prior to his promotion to this enviable rank in the service, Commandant of Corps Ibiloye Oluyemi Joshua was and currently, still the Technical Adviser NSCDC, to the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji - Ojo.

He hails from Isanlu-Isin in the Isin local government area of kwara state. He holds a Master of Science degree in peace and conflict studies, from Nasarawa State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, from University of Ilorin. He is also a member of many professional institutes and have attended several local and international trainings and courses to boost his career development. He has headed, several units, departments and special units of the service since his enlistment into the service in 2004. He enjoys playing scrabble at his leisure hours.
