 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. Three Traditional Rulers In Oyo State D!e In Road Accident

Three traditional rulers in the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State lost their lives in a road crash at the Arinkinkin area of Ogbomoso on Friday.

The three deceased Obas from the local government were; Olodogbo of Odogbo, Onibowula of Bowula, and Alayetoro of Ayetoro.

According to reports, the Obas were said to be on their way to the burial ceremony of the mother of another traditional ruler, Oloolo of Oolo, Oba Oyebunmi Ajayi, when the accident occurred following which their vehicle ramming into an oncoming truck.

Olodogbo was confirmed to have died on the spot but it was unclear at what point the other two monarchs passed away.

A source at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, confirmed the incident to Ogbomoso Insight Online, informing newsmen that their bodies were deposited in the hospital’s morgue.

t was revealed that the fourth victim who sustained injuries was being attended to in the hospital “but he doesn’t look like an Oba,” the source said.
