 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  AFCON 2023: Nwabali not ruled out of Angola clash – NFF

Stanley Nwabali may still be available for Nigeria’s quarter-final duel with the Palancas Negras of Angola, according to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).


The 27-year-old, the NFF sustained a mild ligament injury during the Super Eagles quarter-final clash with Cameroon on Saturday.


Nwabali will undergo another test on Wednesday to ascertain his fitness level ahead of the game with Angola.


“The doctors have been working on him to see if he will come good in a late fitness test 48 hours before the cracker with the southern Africans,” reads the statement.


“Fingers crossed. If all goes well, he might be available for selection.”


Nwabali has kept three clean sheets in four outings at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
