 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. AFCON 2023: Super Eagles ready to fight for title – Iwobi

Alex Iwobi has vowed the Super Eagles will go for the ultimate prize at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles are among the 24 teams that will compete for honours in Cote d’Ivoire.
The West Africans have won the title three times in the past.
They last tasted success in the competition in South Africa in 2013.
“The fans know the quality we have in the team, from each man that is in the squad and the ones that didn’t make the squad, there is a lot of talents in the squad,” the Fulham star told the Super Eagles media.
“We have confidence we can go far in this competition, but we have to prove it and assure the fans that we can prove ourselves. They can be sure we will make the nation proud.”
Iwobi also commented on the team’s preparations for the AFCON.
“Preparation has been good, we are in Abu Dhabi right now. We have got some friendlies to warm up before the AFCON, “added the former Arsenal player.
“Everyone is almost complete here, the squad is almost complete and we are also training well.”
