 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. First lady welcomes baby of the year

First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has welcomed the first baby of the year in the FCT.  

The baby named Mister Johnson Boluwatife was delivered at 12.03 at the National Hospital Abuja.

The hospital is taking delivery of the first baby of the year after three years

On the occasion, Senator Remi Tinubu said the present administration was committed to the  welfare of Nigerians and urged nursing mothers to take proper care of their babies wellbeing. 

She said the birth of the baby symbolizes hope and new beginning for Nigeria

The parents of the new baby Mr and Mrs Johnson Boluwatife thanked federal government for the kind gesture and promised to train the child in the way of the lord. 

Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, who was on the first Lady’s entourage provided 5 years of financial assistance to a patient at the hospital 

Highlights of the occasion was the presentation of gifts to the first baby of the year and other nursing mothers.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
