 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00. Shun Sinful Life - Cleric Urges Nigerians 

Nigerians have been urged to run away from sinful life for God to open doors for them in 2024

The Bishop of the Diocese of Kwara (Anglican Communion), Right Reverend Sunday Adewole made the call in his new year sermon at the Cathedral of St -Barnabas, Sabo-Oke Ilorin with the theme 'New Beginning'

He advised Christians on the need to cultivate the habit of removing negative thinking in their lives. 

Bishop Adewole urged them to dress moderately to attract God's blessings , adding that some dressing attract demon.

He warned married women against chatting with men that are not their husbands. 

The Cleric urged Christians to make good choice and remain contented.

He also called on the youths to shun quick money syndrome , noting that they should wait for their time and rely absolutely on the word of God.
