 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Shun Sinful Life - Cleric Urges Nigerians 

Nigerians have been urged to run away from sinful life for God to open doors for them in 2024

The Bishop of the Diocese of Kwara (Anglican Communion), Right Reverend Sunday Adewole made the call in his new year sermon at the Cathedral of St -Barnabas, Sabo-Oke Ilorin with the theme 'New Beginning'

He advised Christians on the need to cultivate the habit of removing negative thinking in their lives. 

Bishop Adewole urged them to dress moderately to attract God's blessings , adding that some dressing attract demon.

He warned married women against chatting with men that are not their husbands. 

The Cleric urged Christians to make good choice and remain contented.

He also called on the youths to shun quick money syndrome , noting that they should wait for their time and rely absolutely on the word of God.
