 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. Supreme Court Affirms Governor Dauda Lawal Of Zamfara State Victory 

Reactions and jubilations trails the ancient city of Gusau, Zamfara State capital over the supreme court judgement which affirmed Governor Dauda Lawal as the elected governor of the state.

Radio Nigeria Correspondent in Gusau, reports that, there are reactions and jubilations based on the judgement of the supreme court which confirmed Dauda Lawal as the elected governor of the state.

Most of the people interviewed, express hope that the governor will deliver the responsibility bestowed on him and urged him to carry everyone along.

In a statement issued by the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police through the Command's Public Relations Officer, ASP Yazid Abubakar urged party supporters and loyalists to remain calm and law abiding citizens as police will not allowed any political thugs to form celebrations in any way.

Similarly, the opposition party APC also issued a statement signed by the Party's Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris, calling on their supporters also to remain law abiding citizens and to always remain calm and support the security agencies in the discharge of their responsibilities.
