 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede In an exclusive interview, 


 praised Funke Akindele's filmmaking skills, describing her as a dedicated and meticulous filmmaker who oversees every aspect of production on set.


"Working with Funke on this new project took me to a whole new level of understanding and knowledge about filmmaking," Jegede expressed. She went on to emphasize Funke's commitment, saying, "She is an insane filmmaker who perfectly orchestrates every part of the production. My respect for her has doubled; I can’t even address her without adding 'Big Sis.'"


Jegede debunked the perception that Funke Akindele is always playful and goofy, as seen on TV. She revealed, "When you see her on TV, you would think she loves to have fun, play around, dance, and be goofy. That’s a lie! She’s a very serious person when she’s on set."


According to Jegede, Funke's dedication and meticulous preparation before stepping onto the set are remarkable. She acknowledged Funke's exceptional understanding of every department in filmmaking, highlighting her as a serious and talented individual in the industry.
