 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede In an exclusive interview, 


 praised Funke Akindele's filmmaking skills, describing her as a dedicated and meticulous filmmaker who oversees every aspect of production on set.


"Working with Funke on this new project took me to a whole new level of understanding and knowledge about filmmaking," Jegede expressed. She went on to emphasize Funke's commitment, saying, "She is an insane filmmaker who perfectly orchestrates every part of the production. My respect for her has doubled; I can’t even address her without adding 'Big Sis.'"


Jegede debunked the perception that Funke Akindele is always playful and goofy, as seen on TV. She revealed, "When you see her on TV, you would think she loves to have fun, play around, dance, and be goofy. That’s a lie! She’s a very serious person when she’s on set."


According to Jegede, Funke's dedication and meticulous preparation before stepping onto the set are remarkable. She acknowledged Funke's exceptional understanding of every department in filmmaking, highlighting her as a serious and talented individual in the industry.
