 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. US Mayor honours Reno Omokri with key to Blanco city

Author and social media influencer, Reno Omokri has been honoured with a key to the city of Blanco, Texas by Mayor Mike Arnold at Ambroseli National Park, Kenya.
The former Presidential spokesperson, according to the Mayor, received the honour for his contributions to humanitarian causes and the advancement of human knowledge.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Arnold said: “In recognition of your notable contributions to humanity and making the world a better place, it is my profound honour to give you a key to the City of Blanco as the Mayor of the city. Youths have friends in Texas.”
Mayor Arnold, a notable Trump supporter, praised Omokri for his commitment to the conservative ideals of family, morals, and godliness.
The ceremony which was star-studded was attended by former Cross River Governor Donald Duke; Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, British actor Wale Ojo; gospel music star Panam Percy Paul, and HRH King Stephen Jeremiah Tobins, Akee X (JP) Nwamoema of Bukuma, Rivers State.
