More than 100,000 children have been displaced by the latest escalation in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, UNICEF said on Sunday, warning the numbers are expected to rise as violence spreads. Since Dec. 1, intense fighting has uprooted more than 500,000 people, with children accounting for over 100,000 of those displaced in South Kivu alone, the UN agency said in a statement released Sunday. It said since Dec. 2, hundreds have been killed in the fighting, and children have been among the victims, with four students killed, six injured, and at least seven schools attacked or damaged.  Why I quit cross-dressing – Brain Jotter

Nigerian skit maker, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, popularly known as Brain Jotter, has revealed that he once created content as a crossdresser.

Brain Jotter explained that he, however, quit crossdressing because “it is not sustainable except you are doing it exceptionally well.”

The skit maker said this when he was featured recently on Channels TV’s programme, Rubbin’ Minds, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

Brain Jotter said, “I have a friend who is advising me to start making content as a crossdresser. I’m not interested because I’ve tried it before.

“There was a time I was creating content with the character Madam Ogadi in a church and the audience were applauding my performances. So it got to my head and it was almost a niche for me. But then I realised that cross-dressing is not sustainable for me. I just don’t buy the idea because it won’t last. People might enjoy it once or twice, but you’re not a woman. Except you are doing it exceptionally well.

“You can’t be wearing a woman’s clothes with beards.”
