 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Wizkid reveals struggles following mother's death

Award-winning artiste Wizkid has responded to the concerns raised by his fans and admirers following his recent appearance at an event.


The Grammy-winning singer attended the UK premiere of “Bob Marley: One Love” in London, where online videos depicted him looking somber.


Many fans expressed worry, noting his appearance seemed weary, and dull.


Some speculated that Wizkid may still be grappling with the loss of his beloved mother.


In response, Wizkid disclosed that he has felt different since his mother’s death, acknowledging a sense of disconnection from himself.


However, he promised that he will eventually rediscover his sense of self.


He likened his experience to that of a soldier, emphasizing his resilience in the face of adversity by stating his readiness to rebuff anyone encroaching on his personal space.


Wizkid concluded his message by expressing appreciation for his fans’ solidarity during his lowest moments, promising his return.


“Look in the mirror don’t feel myself. Mama left me and I lost myself.

Can’t wait to feel myself again! Life of a soldier! Military with it!
