 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Blue cards set to be introduced in football


Blue cards are set to be introduced in professional football as part of sin-bin trials. 


This will mark the first new colour of card widely used in 50 years.


There are currently only yellow and red cards used in football.


But the report claims that on Friday, the International Football Association Board, IFAB, will announce the revolutionary move.


It is part of new measures that will see players removed from play for 10 minutes, if they commit a cynical foul or show dissent towards a match official.


Players would now be sent off if they receive two blue cards in a match or a combination of a blue and a yellow.


Elite trials could begin this summer, although top-tier competitions will be excluded from initial testing.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
