A community leader Alhaji Abdullahi Mai Manja from Pambegua in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has appealed to the government for immediate action to rehabilitate the dangerous road connecting Zaria-Pambegua-Jos.
In a statement in KADUNA, Alhaji Abdullahi emphasized the urgent need for repairs to ensure safe commuting and the transportation of farm produce, labeling the route as a "death trap."
Representing concerned residents, he highlighted the distressing challenges faced by commuters and farmers due to the deteriorating condition of the road.
Abdullahi Mai manja Pambegua stressed that the crumbling infrastructure had led to a sudden increased in accidents, endangering lives and impeding economic activities in the communities along the road.
According to him, many farmers heavily rely on this route to transport their produce to markets, and the impassable road poses a significant obstacle to their livelihoods.
While Calling on government at all levels, Abdullahi Mai Manja emphasised the importance of timely intervention to prevent further loss of lives and to ensure smooth transportation of goods and services.
In response to Alhaji Abdullahi Mai Manja's plea, residents and stakeholders reflected similar concerns, urging swift action from the appropriate authorities.
