 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Everton strike late to deny Tottenham despite Richarlison’s double


Jarrad Branthwaite’s 94th minute equaliser salvaged a 2-2 draw for Everton against Tottenham that dragged the Toffees out of the relegation zone on Saturday.


Richarlison’s double on his return to Goodison Park looked set to take Spurs level on points with third-placed Arsenal.


But Ange Postecoglou’s men were denied at the death as Branthwaite met a free-kick at the far post to boost Everton’s chances of survival.


Tottenham remain in fourth but could be leapfrogged by Aston Villa, when they travel to struggling Sheffield United later on Saturday.
