 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Joeboy announces exit from Empawa Music, launches own label, Young Legend


Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, popularly known as Joeboy, has parted ways with Empawa Music, which is owned by Mr Eazi.

The singer signed a dual deal with global music giant, Warner Music. The dual deal sees Joeboy launch his record label called Young Legend as well as being Warner Music’s latest flagship artist.

Sharing a ritual-themed clip announcing the launch of his record label via X, Joeboy wrote: “Dawn of a new era. Young Legend is alive.”

DAILY POST recalls that Joeboy joined Empawa Music five years ago and gained prominence with the release of his hit single, ‘Baby.’

He was nominated for the Next Rated category at the 2019 Headies Awards but lost to Rema.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
