 Burkina Faso releases detained Nigerian soldiers The 11 Nigerian military officials on board the C-130 aircraft that made an emergency landing in Burkina Faso have been released. The soldiers were held last week by Burkinabe authorities over what they described as violations of their airspace. Their release Wednesday night comes about nine days after their arrest. The spokesperson of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa, confirmed that the officials were released on Wednesday. The detained soldiers were released after a high-level Nigerian delegation visited Burkina Faso. The delegation, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, met with the government of Burkina Faso to resolve the disagreement over the emergency landing.  KWSG Open Tunde Flyover's service lanes for use


Kwara State Government has opened the second service lane of the Tunde Idiagbon Flyover in Tanke to ease  traffic along that axis.


The state Commissioner for Works Abdulqowiyu Olododo stated this in Ilorin during a facility tour of the bridge and other road projects in some parts of the metropolis.


He said the residents of the community have  shown  understanding throughout the cycle of the  project .


The Commisssioner noted that the  officials of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) had recently certified that the flyover is safe for public use.


Abdulqowiyu explained that what is left are just road marking, painting of the walkways and Kerbs, which does not disturb the free flow of traffic.
