 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion.  MEDICAL DIRECTOR ADMONISHES WORKERS TO BE PROACTIVE

The new Chief Medical Director, Comprehensive Medical Centre, Akwuzu, Dr. Adaobi Igwebuike has called on the staff of the hospital to always be proactive in the discharge of their duties.


Dr. Igwebuike made the call during her maiden meeting with the staff of the hospital at the Comprehensive Medical Centre, Akwuzu, Oyi Local Government Area.


Addressing the staff, she expressed disappointment at the nonchalant and negligence to duty displayed by workers, saying that her administration is out to met out displininary measures in line with the civil service rules .


The  medical director urged all the staff to join hands with her to move the hospital to an enviable height in line with the Prof. Chukwuma Soludo led administration in the state, saying that her office will always be open to new ideas, criticisms and information.


Dr. Igwebuike also advised the workers to always take good care of themselves and be mindful of the food they eat, stressing that one needs to eat right in order to be strong and healthy in discharging duties.


Responding on behalf of the workers, the Hospital Matron, Mrs Obiageli Ajaegbo, praised the new chief medical director on her bold step and successful conducting of  the very first surgery on February 12 in the hospital.


Mrs Ajegbo advocating for attitudinal change toward work, promised the director of total co-operation and good conduct on the part of workers.
