 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. PRESIDENT TINUBU MOURNS CEO OF ACCESS HOLDINGS PLC, HERBERT WIGWE, FORMER GROUP CHAIRMAN OF NIGERIAN EXCHANGE GROUP, ABIMBOLA OGUNBANJO AND FAMILY MEMBERS



After receiving an official confirmation of events, President Bola Tinubu receives with shock and deep distress the news of the passing of Mr. Herbert Wigwe, top banker and entrepreneur, and Mr. Abimbola Ogunbanjo, OFR, former Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, along with members of the Wigwe family.


Mr. Herbert Wigwe, CFR, was the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc and founder of the How Foundation.


President Tinubu mourns these exceptional Nigerian business leaders and describes their passing as "an overwhelming tragedy that is shocking beyond comprehension."


The President condoles with the Wigwe and Ogunbanjo families, the business community, and all those impacted by this harrowing incident.


President Tinubu prays for the peaceful repose of the departed and asks God Almighty to comfort the multitude of Nigerians who are grieving and the families of the deceased at this deeply agonizing moment.
