Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy.  PRINCE OYEKANMI ELEGUSHI ASSUMES OFFICE AS NEW GENERAL MANAGER, ĹASIMRA



Prince Oyekanmi Elegushi, recently appointed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the new General Manager of the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA) has officially assumed office.


Speaking during a brief reception organised to welcome him by the management and staff of LASIMRA, Prince Elegushi said he will run an open-door policy whereby every individual will be free to contribute effectively to the development of the Agency. He further stated that his concern is to build on the current structure set up by the past administration of Engr. (Mrs.) Bisoye Coker-Odusote and make amendments where necessary.


He expressed his commitment to improving the welfare of the workforce, saying, “The staff's welfare and growth is important if we must move the agency to a greater height”. He then enjoined the staff to work as a family and respect the norms and values of the agency to achieve the set goals.


According to him, with his vast knowledge, experience, and proven track record as a Lawyer, Politician, Real Estate and Fintech Entrepreneur, he is set to lead LASIMRA to greater success while contributing to improved infrastructure management in Lagos State.


While welcoming the new General Manager to the Agency, the Director of Public Affairs, Ms. Oluremi Abadariki said that the Management and staff are ready to give their unflinching support to him towards ensuring a successful tenure in office.


On her part, the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mrs. Toyin Oladeji prayed that his tenure would bring more success to LASIMRA.


Prince Oyekanmi Elegushi is a highly accomplished individual who has excelled in multiple fields, including law, politics, real estate, and fintech. With a strong focus on property law, he established himself as a renowned lawyer with vast experience. His diverse legal and fintech experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of various industries.


In addition to his successful career as a legal practitioner and businessman, Oyekanmi Elegushi has actively participated in politics, particularly within Lagos state. His expertise and dedication have earned him prominent positions in the political scene, where he made significant impacts.


Before his new appointment, Prince Oyekanmi Elegushi was the Executive Secretary/Legal Adviser at the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) and later appointed Executive Director at Ibile Holdings Limited, a position of great responsibility. His exceptional performance and proven leadership skills led to his subsequent appointment as the Acting Managing Director at Ibile Holdings Ltd.
