A BUS DRIVER WAS CAUGHT REPEATEDLY STRIKING A 7TH GRADE STUDENT. (PHOTOS).

A substitute Missouri bus driver was caught on cellphone video repeatedly striking a 7th grade student.

67-year-old Scott Livingston was arrested and charged with fourth degree misdemeanor assault and was released on a $500.00 bond.

The arrest comes after Zachary Carrel was assaulted by Mr. Livingston while he was operating as a substitute school bus driver. Zachary's mother said she was shocked when she received a call from her son detailing the assault.

According to Zachary's mother Nicole he said, "Mom I just got assaulted by the bus driver. I was choked and punched multiple times."

Fortunately Zachary's friend whom he had been joking around with (which led to the assault) filmed the last part of the assault. Zachary also had visible marks which were documented. It was reported that the bus driver claimed he was going to assault Zachary and he replied you can't touch me.

Zachary's parents say although Livingston was arrested and fired, they feel the school needs to do more to ensure something like this won't happen again.
