 US-China trade talks begin in Paris, setting stage for Trump-Xi summit  U.S. and Chinese officials began high-level trade talks in Paris on Sunday, setting the stage for President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to Beijing to meet Chinese leader Xi Jinping in about two weeks. The delegations are led by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng. While the White House has announced Trump’s visit for March 31 to April 2, Beijing has not yet confirmed the dates. Bessent emphasized that the U.S. team aims to secure outcomes that prioritize American farmers, workers, and businesses. Over the two-day talks, the delegations will focus on trade and economic issues of mutual concern. Trump’s visit will be his first to China since his first term in 2017 and follows a one-year truce in the U.S.-China trade war agreed upon last year in Busan, South Korea. FUJI SINGER KWAM1 DENIES DRUMMER KUNLE'S CLAIM OF MISTREATMENT. (PHOTO).

 Fuji Singer Kwam1 denies drummer Kunle's claim of mistreatment. 


Nigerian Fuji icon, King Wasiu Ayinde, widely recognized as Kwam1 or K1, has finally responded to the accusations made by his drummer, Kunle Ayanlowo. In a recent interview, Kunle detailed his experiences working with Kwam1, alleging mistreatment and likening his relatioship to Kwam1 to that between a master and a slave.


He claimed Kwam1 would confiscate their passports when they traveled and even recounted an incident where he was instructed to return home instead of seeking medical attention. Kunle expressed ongoing health concerns, attributing them to stress from his time with Kwam1, and vowed to hold the singer accountable if anything were to happen to him. Having served K1 for 32 years, Kunle lamented achieving nothing and living in constant fear, contrasting the public perception of Kwam1 with his behind-the-scenes personality.

In response, Kwam1 took to Instagram to rebuke the allegations, urging Kunle to refrain from falsehoods and urging those around him to steer clear of deceitful individuals. Kwam1 stated that he had been the one to support Kunle when he had nothing and cautioned against associating with dishonesty, asserting it brings no benefit. In his words, “Lairs and naysayers get away from me, stop lying. Trying to damage the reputation that raised you when you were a nobody. Disassociate from liars, you have nothing to gain from them”.
