 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Guinness World Records dismisses Ghanaian chef’s 227-hour cook-a-thon


Guinness World Records has turned down Ghanaian chef Failatu Abdul-Razak’s attempt to break the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.


Failatu attempted to cook nonstop for over 227 hours in January, but failed because she didn’t follow the regulations for rest breaks.


The coordinator, Kafui Dey, announced the failed attempt, which had received broad endorsements from Ghana’s military, politicians, and celebrities.


“A statement from the Records Management Team cited a violation of the rest break rules, resulting in an unsuccessful attempt.”


Chef Abdul-Razak thanked her fans in spite of the setback, stating that she doesn’t take their important role in her path for granted.
