 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu, has opened up about her crashed marriage.


The socialite, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, revealed that her marriage fell apart over her husband’s numerous lies. She claimed that her husband had lied to her that he was 38 years old, meanwhile, he was 51 years old.


She further revealed that during their courtship, her husband told her that he had never married nor had he gotten any lady pregnant, but all these were lies.


Jasmine said she found out about his real age on their wedding day.


“Mr Ibu’s daughter, Jasmine has revealed that her husband told her he was 38 yrs old but she found out he was 51 yrs old on their wedding day.


“This guy told me he has never married in his life, or gotten a lady pregnant, in fact, he told me he was 38 years old. The day I found out that my husband was 51 years, old was on our wedding day”.
