 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. JIDE KOSOKO PUTS 70TH BIRTHDAY PARTY ON HOLD DUE TO THE SITUATION OF THINGS IN THE COUNTRY. (PHOTOS).

Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko has won the praises of many after he announced he would be putting his 70th birthday party on hold because of the situation of things in the country.


In a lengthy post on his Instagram, the veteran Yoruba actor, appreciated his colleagues who came up with the idea of celebrating his contributions to the industry while he was still alive


However, he has discussed with them and they had reasoned that the celebration should be put on hold basically because of the current situation in the country and what people are going through. He reemphasized that he was doing it because of the masses, who he is a part of.
