 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  NIGERIAN ARMY TROOPS RAID TERRORISTS' CAMP IN SAMBISA, NEUTRALISE TERRORISTS, RECOVER WEAPONS



Nigerian Army troops deployed to the North East as part of the ongoing counter-insurgency operations on Friday, March 8, 2024, conducted a successful raid operation on a terrorists' camp in the Arra area of Zambisa Forest. During the operation, the troops gallantly neutralized 3 terrorists, including a suicide bomber and destroyed their enclave in the area. After a thorough search, troops recovered 2 AK-47 Rifles and a suicide vest.


In another operation, troops conducted a clearance operation in the Buluwa Area of Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, where they uncovered and destroyed another terrorists' camp. In the encounter troops killed one terrorist and recovered one AK-47 Rifle, 14 rounds of 7.62mm (Special), a bicycle, foodstuff, a grinding machine, and other sundry items.


The Nigerian Army remains committed to the eradication of terrorism and insurgency in the region and will continue to conduct operations to ensure the safety and security of the populace.
