For not exercising restraints from making do with what does not belong to him, a middle-aged man has run into trouble in Ogun State.

The 37-year-old suspect, Ashade Kamoru, was caught by operatives of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation, and Safety Corps, otherwise known as So-Safe Corps while dismantling aluminum sliding windows from a building in his Owode-Yewa community.

A resident of Wawe House on Elekure Street, Alagbon, Ashade was said to be busy dismantling the sliding windows of a building

at Iyana Ifako, also in Alagbon, when the law of retribution caught up with him.

In a statement issued issued by the Corps Commander of So-Safe, Dr. Soji Ganzallo through the Agency's Director of Information and Public Relations, AC Moruf Yusuf, the suspect was arrested at about 5:45am on Tuesday, March 5, by operatives of the SC Fatimoh Idris-led Owode-Yewa Divisional Command of the Corps.

He was alleged to had stolen six sliding aluminum windows, three of which were recovered on the spot.

Ganzallo emphasized that the suspect, realizing that the game was up, confessed to the crime during preliminary investigation, and later led the officers to where he hid the  three earlier stolen, while intending to remove more later.

The suspect and the recovered exhibits have been transferred to the Owode Egbado Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation and prosecution.
