 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A 6-YEAR OLD BOY WITH A RARE HEART CONDITION WAS SWORN IN AS HONORARY POLICE OFFICER. (PHOTO).

 On Tuesday, a sweet 6-year-old Chicago, Illinois boy with a rare heart condition was sworn in as honorary police officer.


Keyjuan Andrew has underwent 15 surgeries and more than 58 medical procedures in his young life. This is due to a condition he was born with, Hypoplastic Heart Syndrome. This condition affects blood flow through the heart. Approximately 1,025 children a year are born with this debilitating condition. 


Keyjuan dreams of some day becoming a police officer and now; all thanks to the awesome staff at Lynwood P.D., his dream has come true. 


In an official and sweet ceremony Tuesday night, Keyjuan was sworn in as an honorary Lynwood PD officer. Congratulations Keyjuan and the incredible Lynwood Police department!
