A GEORGIA WOMAN GOES ON A SHOOTING SPREE, SHE SAID GOD TOLD HER TO "BECAUSE OF THE ECLIPSE".(PHOTO).

A Georgia woman goes on a shooting spree on a Florida interstate, she said God told her to "because of the eclipse".

22-year-old Taylon Celestine told hotel staff at a Florida hotel she was going on a shooting spree, because god had instructed her to do so on account of the eclipse.

She then got in her purple Dodge Charger and got on Interstate 10. After traveling roughly 5 miles she opened fire on a vehicle driving next to her. The vehicle was struck multiple times, however the driver was able to evade her and escape any serious injury.

Celestine then opened fire on another vehicle traveling on I-10 unfortunately this driver wasn't able to escape injury and was struck in the neck. After this, Celestine exited the interstate at a rest area.

Once in the rest area Celestine attempted to re-enter the interstate. At this point multiple law enforcement agencies had been made aware of the dangerous situation.

A Flordia State Trooper noticed the vehicle described in the shootings and initiated a traffic stop. Apparently Celestine had accomplished whatever it was she had intended to do, pulled over and was taken into custody without incident.

Troopers recovered an AR-15 and a 9mm from inside of Celestine's vehicle. She was charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and improper discharge of a firearm.

Both victims are recovering with one already released as he only received cuts from broken glass while the other is still receiving medical treatment for a gunshot wound to the neck.
