 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker.  Anambra Police Commissioner  Confers With Dike Ochioha 1 Of Ogbunka Kingdom

The outgoing Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Police Command, CP Aderemi Adeoye has been conferred with a chieftaincy title in Anambra community.


The chieftaincy title, Dike Ochioha 1 was bestowed on him by the Traditional Ruler of Ogbunka Kingdom in Orumba South LGA of Anambra State, HRH Igwe J.M. Anyaoha following the approval of Anambra State Government for the conferment of Chieftaincy title on the Commissioner.


The event which held on Sunday, April 28, equally witnessed the conferment of Ada Eji Ejemba 1 on the commissioner’s wife, Mrs. Bolanle Adeoye.


Recall that CP Aderemi will be retiring from Nigeria Police Force on May 1 this year, having served in the Force for 35 years and  several activities have been lined up to mark his official disengagement from Service, part of which was the Pull Out Parade held in his honour at the Alex Ekwueme Square over the weekend.
