  The Hardship in Nigeria won’t end even if Tinubu remains in power for 300 years – Deji Adeyanju Human rights activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju has stated that President Bola Tinubu will not be able to alleviate the hardships in Nigeria, even if he were to remain in power for 300 years. Adeyanju argued that the difficulties faced by Nigerians will persist under Tinubu's leadership because he lacks solutions to the ongoing issues. He made these comments during an interview with DAILY POST, where he also addressed various topics, including the prosecution of EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters and the presidential ambitions of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi. A Nigerian crossdresser, Natasha, sparks discussion on social media as she declares herself the acting mummy of Lagos while announcing that Bobrisky isn’t in town.


This is contained in a video captioned: “Bobrisky’s next of kin, the next mummy of Lagos.”


In the said video, the lady could be heard discussing the absence of Bobrisky while claiming she’s at a meeting and would be away for some time, hence, she would be taking over from Bobrisky as the mommy of Lagos.


Her statement: “As her next of kin, I’m the new acting mummy of Lagos.”


“Hey guys, good morning, good afternoon, depending on what time you’re watching this video. I’ve got great news for you, I’m sorry my mum (Bobrisky) is not in town, you all know my mum.”


“And we’re working, we’re doing everything to get her out. You guys should exercise patience. As her next of kin, I’m the new acting mummy of Lagos.”


“So if you have any problems about how to join our kingdom, or you’ve joined and you don’t have your ID card, or a lot of questions, just come to me. I’m now the acting mummy of Lagos.”


She made several other sensitive statements in the said video, which has attracted attention on social media, with many individuals taking to the comment page of the post to share their thoughts.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
